Soup sounds good @LindaSal

@jackthebear Several years ago I purchased a dark grey, gunmetal shiny blouse. It has served me well any time I need a "special outfit". It's a good item to have in your closet on standby.

Sorry the Studio Park dress was a stinker @PINKdogWOOD   I bought a skirt and the maxi coat from Leah's fall collaboration and love them.  It's a cr@pshoot sometimes.

Re: AM Style Chat December 8 2023

Good morning, ladies!  I usually read, but don't post.  After reading about @LindaSal and her crockpot chicken and dumplings, I had to jump on and ask if she would share her recipe.  I realize this is a style thread, but thought I would take a chance and ask.

It is blue sky and going to reach near 80 today in my neck of the woods.  It always seems odd to see lights on a palm tree, but I will take that over gloom and rain anyday.  I do like a great snow storm though. Woman Happy

@LindaSal   We're getting that rain/storms all day tomorrow. I'm getting the rest of my errands done today.

Tomorrow will be a good day for laundry and yucky jobs like cleaning the stove and ovens.

@Bird mama   Love this thread. It's like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates...You never know what you'll find here. Fun!

@PINKdogWOOD

@Bird mama @Shanus @tends2dogs @LindaSal

Seeatshirt dress sounds like a great idea, but I agree..I would have expected an item with stretch!

Interested... what will you wear it with...styling...what type of shoes, etc?

I just purchased an item with no stretch I will post it here in a minute! I purchased it in an XL and it is from Aerie on Poshmsrk. That brand in XL could be a flop for me...and often is but I couldn't resist it for the price offered.

Re: AM Style Chat December 8 2023

Actually @tends2dogs it's nothing fancy, LOL!   I just cook the chicken on low in the crockpot overnight, get up in the morning and pull it apart.  Then I add carrots, onions, celery and kale to the crockpot with some chicken broth, parsley, bay leaf and oregano. Then cook that on low for the day.  Later I just make a simple biscuit recipe (you can even use Bisquick) and bake them in the oven and add them to the hot bowl of soup when serving.    I use a small whole chicken and just add it back in when the veggies are done.  It's time consuming but simple and tasty!
