@Snicks1, there isn't enough money in the world to make me want to get a CDL. My DH always thought I should when we had our charter and tour company. I said I would leave him first! I always worried when our buses were out on the road. One morning at 4:30, we got a call from someone who had chartered a bus to go white water rafting in Colorado. Seems our driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance at midnight and the group was scheduled to come home that afternoon. We scrambled three drivers, airlines reservations, etc. Got the group home. The driver was in the hospital another three weeks with blood clots in his lungs. We were just SO thankful it didn't happen while he was driving. So happy I don't have that kind of stress in my life anymore. I have so much respect for the drivers of those super sized vehicles.

I've been watching some Animal Planet kitten shows (Xfinity on Demand).  I'm pretty sure they had one awhile back on Bengal kittens.

I'll be getting a kitty soon, and I'm nervous and excited, as this will be my first kitty.  I've been buying supplies, etc., a little at a time, so I'll be ready when I get her.

I rescued a 2-yr-old Golden Retriever at Christmas time one year, and I named him Nicky, too!

Buttercups - I've already selected my kitty, but it will be another week before I can visit her.  Then I'll need to wait until she is 10 weeks old (or more) to bring her home.  I'm nervous, but excited also.  I've been purchasing things for the kitty, and will need to "kitten-proof" my home.  I have way too much stuff lying around (candle holders with sparkly crystals, candles, plates, bowls, vases, knicknacks, etc.).
