That Lands End skort looks adorable - wouldn't ever guess it was s skort. I'm going to check Lands End and maybe order one or two of those.
I think Jayne may have decided to go down a size because the skort had a tendency to bunch up in the tummy/hip area. Sizing down probably helped prevent that. I'm guessing Pat really didn't think it looked good on her as she's really good about wearing TSV garments.
On the occasional AM fashion shows I see, Jayne almost always looks great - she can take garments that don't always look like much and pair them with complimentary pieces to create a great look. I was thinking the other day how much more sophisticated Jayne has become through her years as a host.

Thanks for your good wishes everyone.
Lola, I don't know the levels but it's apparently late stage 2 out of 4 stages. I spoke with friends about it last night, and they had a 7-year-old cat who got into something (they think anti-freeze). He survived but only had about 10-15% kidney function. He lived 10 years after that. Seems they don't need a lot. I'm going to talk w/Charlie's regular vet by phone today, last year she said if he had teeth problems again we would do "antibiotic pulse therapy" just to keep them from getting infected. Think we definitely need that now, but sheesh he's eating great, everything about him is normal, his coat is even silky. So I'm more upbeat now, we may have another 6 mos. - year together. For sure no surgery, I couldn't stand to have him go on the table. I want to be holding his little paw when it comes time.

Run,
Do you have a pet fountain? It might encourage him to keep on drinking, to help his kidneys flush everything out.

Friends,
I caught a brief moment of respite after some vigorous scratching and numerous rounds of fetching, so I thought I would share.

I'm concerned that Kirby doesn't have enough toys.

Give CHARLIE a big hug and Smooches from his Auntie Linda. Oh I love your boys!!!

Oh hugs back to Auntie Linda!!! He's asking about you.
Smooches from all the fur kids.
Did you see my update in this weeks AM Style chat? His regular vet is having me flush his kidneys with sub-Q fluids, then we'll re-check the kidneys. Her hunch is that he's not that far along in CRF, more plain old dehydration.
