Hi,  Style Sisters!

How was your holiday?

I hope everyone had a safe day of holiday celebration and stayed healthy!

Mine will be celebrated next Sunday when my family returns!

I listened to the performance “Gabriel’s Oboe” on Christmas morning‼️ Had forgotten how beautiful an orchestra could sound.  The performance is on YouTube and is entitled Morricone conducts Morricone performs “Gabriel’s Oboe (The movie is The Mission)”.

My inspiration was the tv special “God With Us” by the Loma Linda University Church, which can be enjoyed on YouTube. "Gabriel’s Oboe" was played at the end of televised  special on a local tv show. ❤️

I plan on visiting The Humane Society thrift this coming week.   It is AMAZING how many folks donate their UNWANTED Christmas gifts...small appliances, brand new and still in the boxes.     di

      @Desertdi   I take unused gifts and household items

             to the Humane Society thrift store 

             near me. It's a small store so they do not take 

             clothing. The volunteer staff keeps it clean and 

             organized and they are so appreciative of 

             donated items.

Morning!  Hope all had a nice Christmas holiday, Hannukah, or Kwanza celebration with family or friends.

For those having severe weather issues, sending hope all is not too bad in your area. We did not have icy roads as many east and north of us did yesterday.  Grateful for that. 

Almost afraid to watch Leah this a.m.  Might see something I "need"!  My plastic cards need some rest after shopping for 9 grands plus DDS and SILS, too for Christmas gifts. 

Hosting brunch tomorrow for family. Time to empty stockings at GM and GP's!  Running out to pick up my food order shortly. And, unfortunately, have a funeral home visit today for a friend. Difficult time of the year for loss. 

So, sticking to style...What to wear for our "brunch" entertaining....Jammie's?  Jeans?  Loungewear?  LOL!

I am always on pins and needles when they are tackling the roads...

the weather can influence driving so much!

The weather here has been a real "trip"!
We were supposed to have a major problem with roads yesterday...and nothing happened in my area...‼️

I always donate to the Arizona Humane Society. Great charity and i know they appreciate it.

Good morning all!  Happy holidays to everyone as we close out 2025.

Quiet by me but he got snow last night so I will be out with the neighbors shoveling shortly, most times they beat me to it.

@LTT1 - traveling prayers for our families, mine included as they trek in today and the next two days.

Watching Leah on AM Style but haven't brought anything.  I got spoiled with free shipping so if I do see anything I will save it in my wish list.

I must do laundry today and start tidying up for guest.

Still busy getting paintings ready to sell. We did have a "craft market" here and I signed up to sell paintings and I did sell several. I'll be at the framers today to get 4 more ready for the gallery.

I'm staying away from the mall to not be tempted to fill my closet again. Although I'm wearing my "nicer clothing" on some days so they don't get lost, everyone else seems to be in leggings, joggers and sneakers. 

Wishing everyone a very Happy 2026....less chaos and more relaxing news.
