Re: A.M. Style Live Chat- Accessories Edition, 7:00 9/10

I need some kind of pocket (s) on the outside myself which is probably why I don't own a single Dooney and Bourke bag.

@gmkb - Doctors can be cold, esp. surgeons. You want someone very OCD and/or exacting standards, so sometimes the speech itself is surgical. Are you still waiting for results, e.g. biopsy of margins prior to deciding whether to have radiation?

@Bird mama - Enjoyed reading about your body art adventure! Don't want to side track this thread, but how do you know who's good, can you ask your doctor or something? lol I'd be more worried about possible health effects than anything else.

@Eliana - Neat, I would probably do something unimaginative like his symbol.

@LTT1 Go boots! And remembering old times.

The price of this bag is more than I ever pay for a bag, but I would actually consider it if there was an outside pocket and a zipper.  I love the look and shape of it.

@Buttercups

From a health perspective, you want the artists to be certified in training related to blood borne diseases.

From a 'good' perspective, you want to look at portfolios of the artists to make sure you see examples of where they excel as far as style.  Some artisits are great in tribal designs and weak in portraits.  If they are weak in portraits, not the guy you want to tattoo a human eye on your arm, lol.

You look at the lines of work to make sure the lines are smooth and steady - no breaks in the line (like they had a shaky hand).  As crazy as this sounds, they need to be able to color INSIDE the lines. lol

I watched alot of tattoo shows when I had cable.  I also work with some guys who have tattoos.

Good Morning All!

Hope everyone had a good week.   I'm still painting the living room tray ceiling.  Many interruptions, procrastination, general aging.  Where did my high energy level go?!

@gmkb.  Glad to hear surgery went well.   Hope you're feeling good.  Prayers for a great recovery and zero issues.
