Trip is not for awhile yet, towards the end of Oct., but it finally is getting closer. I have decided to forego Williamsburg and spend two days in D.C., we will get a hotel room there for one night. I'm sure Williamsburg has a lot to offer, but from all the websites I looked at it seems most of it is people in period costumes, and shopping. I'm not wanting to do any shopping on my trip, and how long do I want to spend looking at people in costume. Much more of interest to me in D.C. DD tells me that Mt. Vernon is well worth the travel and time, so we might do that also. Most is still up for discussion.

Willsmburg is worth the trip, many restored houses but it looks as though you have limited time, Mt Vernon is worth it as well.

DC lots of museums, but all are usually crowded as they are all free (Smithsonians), so plan which ones you want to see.

Spy Museum is good.

I am done shopping (as of yesterday) for Fall & Winter, not buying anything else for myself till at least next Spring. I got on a roll for awhile, but have everything I needed, or wanted {#emotions_dlg.blushing}.

I woke up recently and turned on am style. I had to laugh because Jen Rade was on with her cascading sweater. She said Lisa bought 2 and someone else bought one. Then Jayne was ordering one. I thought no one is buying it so now all the hosts are. It's so phony when the vendor acts like everyone loves her item and everyone around her. Personally, I did not like it and felt it was too long on Jen's petite body.

and then they did all the usual stupid cackling about wanting to be taller, irks me. Maybe some people are happy with their height.

and didn't really address the sizing on a "petite" woman that they started to.

such a turn off
