I was tempted last weekend for my 50% off teacher appreciation discount by this jacket at Vineyard Vines, but I didn't scoop it up.  it's expensive at regular price, so even at 50% it's not a "bargain."

I love the pink and white stripes at the collar and cuffs.

@PINKdogWOOD   We had a couple of nice sunny days this week and I was hoping to get some yard work done yesterday and then we had showers.. again.  Since today is going to be the last nice one before stifling heat and rain return I'll be working my front and back yard.

@lolakimono   Bless you for asking - Bob is doing great! or at least we think so, certainly hope so. As you can imagine, his 2 CT scans and fitst (blood) labs I had to cancel due to well, you know C-19. These were scheduled first week in April with a checkup w/his lead oncol to see the scans and results of labs.

Now that our hospital is ready to begin seeing paitents, catch up with doing scans etc, I've rescheduled them for first week in June. He has to go by himself, I could go but I have to wait in the car for him. AND get this, his appointment for the scans is on a Sunday!!! I think they're just trying to catch up on such things for patients. I think we/he can give up a little time on a SUnday to get these done. The week later he'll actually do a face to face (or mask to mask) w/his Dr to get the results. We're really anxious to get these done as we really have no idea how the 3 radiation treatments went. We know his surgery rid him of the tumor in the left lung, praying like all getout the rad did its job completely too.

He feels really good, still plugging along very well at his work. All the guys wear masks around him and each other. He doesn't venture out beyong his work except for gas in his truck. He's very conscious about wearing a mask. We went out together last weekend to buy round one of annuals for the yard - almost every person there had a mask on, we totally avoid and turn our backs to t hose who choose to not wear them.

All in all, he's "back to normal" LOL!!!

I'm thinking that with my AI condition, my skin would not self-correct?

It lightens a bit each day.  I had it done on Wednesday, and by Sunday or Monday it should be gone.

At the moment, as well as late last night, I am enjoying a neighbors' loud musica nortena Memorial weekend celebration!  Here, countless people have died, including two good souls I personally mourn.  Doctors, parents, grandparents, brothers, uncles, grocery workers.  A surreal nightmare.  I mostly stay in.

Thanks for the info on the shorts, the way QVC is shipping it it be September before I get them and also a 6 inch inseam is very short, I am looking at at least 8 inches if not 9 inches
