@Carolina925

I also see the handwriting on the wall ... it also sends a message that corporate America doesn't value older women to make it on their own.

@SoX , or maybe they think she needs a bit more training and wants Leah to do it. Guess time will tell. In the meantime, I'll be wishing & hoping they keep Leah.

they have too many hosts, 24 hours in the day could get rid of at least  33% of the hosts

get rid of the extra channels

like all the shows with a host timeslots, it is rote and stale

make me want to turn on the TV and see something new

Good morning!

My last week's retail therapy lasted until Monday, and I bought a denim shirt jacket & a pair of brown Hue denim leggings. I went up a size in the leggings so they'll be more like pants. I can't get pics of them this morning, but they both have a wash similar to an acid wash so I'll wear them together & separate.

The weather is very nice this weekend, near 80 & no rain. I'm watching the weather in Las Vegas and hoping my friends there don't get too much rain at once.

(I haven't owned an iron since the mid '80's)

My guess is that when contracts come up for renewal, long term higher paid hosts are offered contracts with major pay cuts that aren't accepted. Leah's may be expiring soon.

It's obvious the Q is cutting expenses everywhere they can and raising prices to remain profitable. It's a losing battle and only a matter of time.

I don't want to derail the central theme of our A.M. Style conversation, but to comment on your first paragraph ... CBS did just that with Nora O'Donnell and it backfired on them ... she accepted the huge paycut and they were forced to keep her.

@Shanus @occasionalrain @Desert Lily @jackthebear

Here is my thinking...only supposition, of course.

Would the Q risk taking a chance on losing Leah?

I don't think so.
Because of this, I believe she might want early retirement?

JMPO

I think the only host they would not want to go is DV, although from reading seems like he is loosing his luster as the host at the top of the pile

Every single host is now expendable given the rapidly evolving and changing nature of Qurate's business.

Things are changing so quickly some may not be able to make it.  It's keep up with the times or get off the bus.
