Good morning to everyone!!!  June 1st? The last month go so quickly?

Busy day of  house cleaning and still packing up and going through stuff to donate or sell as we get ready to downsize. It's a huge job to try to fit some things from a 5000 sq. ft. house into a 3 bedroom apartment. In August is our 55 yr. anniversary! Can you imagine how much has been accumulated in the attic (an unfinished 3rd floor) between our things and what has been stored in the attic that the kids used as a storage area?

My sister and BIL did this last summer and sold the family home and moved into 2bd room apartment . Just talking to her yesterday and finally feeling comfortable but she still missed “my house “

You may already have thought of this as you prepare to do a major downsizing.  Rent a storage unit for those things you think you may want in the apartment.  Once in the apartment, consider how much decor you really want in the smaller space.  You will probably come across new items that fit better in the new place.

@jlkz   Yep, definitely have a storage unit w/ A/C since furniture, etc. going in there.
