@Desert Lily   Love this. I have some fashion jewelry brooches and some real ones (inherited). I put them on my jackets all the time, but don't like making holes in silk scarves.

Even when some said they were out of style, I never follow those rules. I do my own thing. BTW, there are magnetic backs to attach to the pin to convert them so you don't leave holes. Check Amazon.

I have several brooches, some I purchased, and others belonged to my mother. I wear them on jackets, blazers, outerwear coats, and cardigans. I've pinned them on straw and yarn type woven handbags too. I've debated wearing them as pendants, but I haven't done that yet.

Thanks for posting this and reminding me that I do have some really lovely pins and whatnots that I could use and use in different ways!  A few years back I was really into pins and would use them on my clothing all the time.  They really do add a special touch!
