@SportyShorty07 I wore "Gloria Vanderbuilt" jeans and loved them! Also "Calvin Klein" with gorgeous Brooke Shields as the model!

Do you know the rise of these jordache jeans and do they have a skinny leg? Thanks.

I’m in my 50’s now but I remember as a teen, I couldn’t wait to get my first paycheck so I could buy a pair of “designer” Jordache jeans!!!

@Natureluvr I bet that you had a gorgeous collection of Jordach jeans!! Its so exciting to wait for a paycheck and buy a pair of jeans- I did that when I worked at Express in my 20's and I'd buy a new pair of jeans each paycheck using my employee discount

@Pink123 I bet you rocked those Gloria Vanderbilt jeans with great tops and accessories! Brooke Shields looks so great in those Calvin Klein jeans commercials- so stylish. The Jordache jeans on walmart.com that i got are called the "Jordache Womens Essential High Rise Super Skinny Jean" and their inseam is 30 inches and the rise from the ones that I got is about 10 inches- but 9 5/8" to be exact. They don't have the horse ont he back, but they fit like a glove and I like them . Have you tried Express high waisted skiny jeans? I love those so much that I have over 40 pairs . The Jordache official website sells high rise slim with the original horse back pockets, but they're more of a slight bootcut rather than skinny.

Amazon sells Jordache Legacy jeans which are high waisted super skinny with the same measurements as the Jordache from Walmart.com. I hope this helps

I remember all those brands very well. I remember lying on my bed to zip my jeans up. It was essential you had to have a pair of Candies to wear with your jeans. Remember them?

@SportyShorty07 thank you so much. The inseam of 30" on a skinny would be great, 32 for a larger opening. Do they have an 11" rise?

AG has the classic "farrah" which is a 9.5" rise but it slides down my back on me. This is my problem. If they were 10.5" maybe it would work as a lot of companies are sized generously. But these days every company's sizing is all over the place.

You know what thinking back? Levi's never fit me well. Go figure so I do not look for them. And I'm sure the "vanity" sizing has changed which does not help.

I wish they would have kept universal sizing. how wonderful and unpredicable was that?

On Jordache.com, there is a "Black Vintage Straight" jean that is high rise skiny and has an 11 1/4" rise and an inseam of 28" which would be an ankle or crop fit on you since you have long legs. AG jeans look great on you . Have you tried Express high waisted skinny jeans? The high rise from what I measured right now on my own pair is 11 to 11.5" and if you order the "Tall" inseam, its a 30 inch inseam- the sizes are numerical 0 2 4 6 8 etc and are true to size. Another brand of high waisted skinny jeans that look great are Joes Jeans. I wish I knew more brands to recommend- since I'm 4'11", I have stuck with almost completely with Express high waisted skinny jeans since they're super flattering and make me look taller and don't have to be shortened on me .
