Re: 5 Style Tips from Saks Advisors

On the whole, all I can say is, gee, I'm glad I don't have to rely on Saks' advisors on how to dress myself. There are some things I could agree on, but mostly.....not in this lifetime, lol.

Yeahhhh, I won't be going to Saks for "style tips" any time soon. Those all look awful to me.

That's a photo of the Cure for cancer Saks Tee-shirt that I didn't know how to post somewhere on another thread.

Very nice Tee.

Also, 'I'm itching' (lol) to have a new leopard coat!

Thanks for the tips and photos.  Like most of the items; and, yes, I love 'fanny packs'/'waist packs'/'belt packs'/belt bags'.  Always have.  Very handy and I'm thrilled that they're back in style. Even though I've been wearing them 'here and there' anyway.  When carrying a handbag isn't practical.

Nice things! Didn't know fanny packs were back! You just turn then to the front and they are belt bags! Is that black jacket really by Acne Studios?

I can't imagine walking around with the belt bag with the coat open.  I don't think so (we are no on the runway).  I don't care for Saks' tips at all.

Lack of sleep, LOL.  There are 4 tips, plus this information:

Cute shirt, but it runs REALLY small. A friend of mine normally wears an 8, but she ordered an XL in this shirt as it's 100% cotton and she was concerned about shrinkage. The sizing info says an XL will fit a size 12. She could barely squeeze in to it.

Re: 5 Style Tips from Saks Advisors

The day I take advice from an HBC owned department store like Saks, Lord & Taylor, or Hudson's Bay is the day when I decide I can't think for myself what I like. Their websites are lame and every Saks and Hudson's Bay I've been in has dirty ratty looking carpets and dingy dressing rooms.

I don’t like the way these looks are styled, but I do own items that are similar. I have a few red sweaters and tops. I own a solid teal wrap dress. I have a few patent shoes too.

Yes, the particular items shown may or may not appeal to people, but the way they are styled is the point (red with plaids, wearing animal print with other bold pieces, etc.).
