Since when did the regular length of pants become 32?   I saw a host on HSN holding up a pair of jeans to herself. She held them chest high and they still seemed to drag the floor. She's not petite.  An average height model had cuffed them double! for them to look relatively normal. 30 length is fine on me at 5 6 or a little taller.

I don't know why this has changed @MoJoV Same reason that they are making petite lengths at 28 or 29.  27 inch inseam was perfect for me since I'm only 5 foot 1.  I'm not paying $$ to hem things and I don't want to wear a heel or platform sandals to make it work.

@GinaV24  I am also 5'1".  However, a 27 inch inseam is too short for me.   I need a 28 (preferably) or 29 inch inseam.

@MoJoV   lol  probably happened the same day the XS blouse I returned to Costco would have fit me if I gained at least 40 pounds.

I watched HSN for maybe 2 minutes all week, but in those minutes I actually saw the same sales pitch.  It was good for a laugh.

Regular length pants used to be fine for me but 31/32" is too long. I was wondering if this has been done with the assumption that everyone is wearing shoes/sandals/boots with 3/4/5" heels. No.

Another reason for declining sales.

Geez, that is long. I would not be able to wear that length either.

32" is way too long for me too--I'm 5'5" but like the length at 29-30" but I can and have shortened pants. I hate the look of long pants dragging on the ground covering shoes---

I have to shorten almost every pair of pants I buy, and different length for each style.

Easy enough to do myself.

29 for me. I don't wear ankle pants or roll them up.For some reason they never give the inseam, and thats the first thing I want to know. I don't care what size the model is wearing or how tall she is, Give me the inseam on a pair of pants. and they never do.
