I highly recommend Canon printers. We use several different models in my business and I use one at home.

Also, if you can't find what you want locally do take a look at B&H Photo. We often buy from them. Top notch customer service (so, if you have questions installing it they can walk you through the process on the phone), the prices are good, and you get free standard shipping (and depending upon your locale, no sales tax).

Do you mean internet? If you want a wireless printer to work wirelessly, you need the internet and a wireless router. If you are only going to use it with 1 computer and they will be in the same room, you can connect it using a printer cable. You'll need a wireless network in your home for the iPad to work with the printer. If you have an iPad, I assume you already have wireless internet. Do you?

Yes I already have the internet. I was comparing the Canon MG 6320 to the Canon MG 5420. There wasn't much difference between them. The 6320 had an ethernet adapter, while the 5420 didn't.

I did Google and I think it is for businesses? So I wouldn't need that.

That is used to plug it into the router using a Cat5 cable. I thought you wanted a wireless printer.

There are wireless printers that do not connect to with an Cat5 cable. They connect wirelessly to the network. I like the Cat5 type.

The canon 5420 does not come with the ethernet adapter, that I'm sure I don't need.

I have my laptop and my desktop already connected to the router. Got an IPAD for Christmas, so I want to get that connected too.

Canon has a newer printer in this series a 5520. You can see them both at Amazon. These are cloud based printers.

I have a printer, desktop, tablets, laptop, cell phone and internet radio that use my network.

There is no reason to have an Ethernet port if you are going to have a wireless printer. You connect the printer to your wireless network then add it to each device. When adding a printer to your computer, you select network computer. All of this will be in the instructions that come with the printer.

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and I love it. You can also get the 8600 for less money. The plus just adds some more paper features. It does work wireless with my HP Windows 8 laptop and my ipad.
