nook Color

I've had this little gadget for a week and absolutely CANNOT get it to connect to my home wifi network. Got the registration done while at the Barnes & Noble store.

I have tried every suggestion and tweak to my router that I've found online without any luck, including adding the nook's MAC address. Am seriously thinking of returning the nook color and buying a kindle.

Anyone have any suggestions? I have a NetGearWNR 2000 router. The nook will start out saying "connected," then go to "connected...testing," then "connected, no internet." I have DirectTV and two laptops that are all working fine with this router. I just can't get the nook to work. Get the runaround from B&N customer service.

Frustrated!
