iphone 5 unveiling today......anyone considering purchasing?

i never had an iphone but heard a lot about the ease of use so am really thinking about purchasing after i read about the unveiling of the iphone 5 later today.

i saw low prices for the iphone 4 and iphone 4s, and i believe that is because they want to sell those leftover brand new iphones since the i5 unveils today, but i am still confused as to which one i would really need.

i definitely need it for making and receiving phone calls throughout various parts of the U.S., and i want to put my music on it from itunes which i backed up and already have on icloud.

i am also wondering about 4g and if i really need it, but i do know i want the most gigs possible.

if anyone can give me opinions i would really appreciate it and thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions from apple iphone users.
