ipad 3 issue

I am trying 2 transfer a book to my ipad and I get the msg the device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected has anyone else had this issue any suggestions on what to do about it thanks

rosietwinkie, The first thing to check is your internet connection? You can use a free app (like Speedtest.net, or an app from your internet provider). If you don't have a good signal/connection it can cause larger downloads to fail.
