When I first described my issue, she said she was not fam...

@NickNack When I first described my issue, she said she was not familiar with that issue and would have to do a bit of research.  Didn't take her too long to find the answer.  But I'll never know how I could have toggled that by mistake.  (Apple C/S is awesome!)

@Krimpette   I agree that Apple CS is great.  I've had to call them a few times.

@NickNack Another thing I just noticed was that I had not been receiving the tone signal from USPS, UPS and Amazon.  I have now corrected that on all of them.  Still not sure how this happened...it certainly wasn't something I activated.  Anyway, I thought I'd pass on this additional info to you in case you experienced the same things.

@Krimpette  Maybe a recent update or supplemental reset a few of your setting to default?

I know it happens to me sometimes on my Apple comp.  The last OS update, I had to reset ALL of my customized settings. icon_exclaim.gif They ALL reverted to "default."

First time that happened.  I was livid!!!!

I complained to Apple through their Feedback site about this "bug."  Even after I "cleaned up" the update & restarted my comp, ALL my custom settings set itself back to default.

Incredible that they can mess us up liike that!!!!  I see where some of my reset has worked, but a couple of others, I'm still not getting the tone.  Maybe this will be corrected by Apple in a future update.  The odd thing, is that this is in an area where I never would have known to go to in order to select that toggle.  Sometimes this is all too overwhelming to me!!!!!  Thanks for the input!

@Krimpette   I've gotten several texts since your post explaining this.  I've gone in to check, and the settings haven't been changed in any of them.  It's strange.
