Over the weekend I updated my iPad,and iPod Touch to the new ios 5 update. Amazing!!! There are some way cool new features. There is iMessage which is texting over wifi between other ios 5 updaters. There are new features for camera and phone. iCloud is now available. If you purchase movies, apps, music etc. on your iPad or other Apple device it will be automatically sync to your Apple products. No more going to the computer to download the purchase. 1. Go to iTunes on your computer. 2. Plug in apple device and transfer any new purchases. 3. Download latest version of iTunes 10.0.If a message appears that your computer is not able to download 4. Close iTunes and go to computer desktop page and go to programs. There should be the iTunes update as an option. Click on it and the process will begin. The update for iTunes and the ios 5 update takes about an hour. There are many steps involved. At several points during the process I thought it was complete. At another point you will hear a ding from your device. At this point you will have to continue updating on the actually device. Your entire Apple device will be backed-up and then restored. If you are not tech savvy DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!! Get someone to do it for you. All Apple iPaders,iPhoners, and iPod touchers will love love love love love the update. God speed you are going to need it.
