I purchased an ' Easy Home ' body fat scale at Aldi's on a whim last week. It was only $15. I thought it may enliven my journey to rid myself of the holiday candy/cake/every thing diet I go on (not recommended by health guru's) around the holidays then take months to lose.
Does anyone know how to totally clear one of these ?
My highly refined way to use electronics is to read the instructions , be murky about wth they mean then press every thing and see if that works ! So far on a scale that will retain up to 12 users I have about 6 recorded , all mine !
The phone line is closed for the weekend and I sent an e-mail but of course that usually takes awhile.
I have googled it but couldn't come up with an answer to my ? specifically. I did find that in all price ranges they are kind of iffy except for weight measurement . It matches my manual one on that but it is prettier and shiny.

Try taking the battery out and letting it sit for a few days or a week. Eventually, the memory might reset.
You might also try putting in data for someone else and hitting the set feature to overwrite it. I checked the PDF online (Crane Body Fat Scales) and it doesn't tell you how to clear the memory.
In a case like that, generally removing the battery will eventually reset the memory.

If you only paid $15 for it then it's probably defective.

What do these gadgets claim as a "plus/minus(+ - )" accuracy level? If you want to use one as a "reference point only", accuracy means nothing as long as it is consistent. If you get any gadget that has over a 4, plus/minus?
Get a reading of 25% it could be as high as 30% or low end 20%. If I want to know my true bbody composition of fat/muscle, I want a plus/ minus of less than 2% accuracy. Otherwise it tells me nothing.
Hey for $15?

@Campion< it doesn't tell you how to clear the memory.> I am glad it wasn't just my not seeing it in the manual. Maybe cs can tell me Monday. The battery thing sounds like a good suggestion. That has worked with other items. TY
@Tinkrbl44 it could be. Aldi's has a good return policy if that is the case . Although as I said the weight is the same as my old manual one so I may keep to have one in bathroom and one in bedroom.
