@bargainsgirl    Yes, I cut the cord about 4 years ago.  I had Sling for several years but found often, especially late at night, I had little to watch.  So I switched to YouTube TV which has a lot more on demand plus some channels I enjoy that I didn't have previously.  That, along with Netflix and Amazon Video, keep me occupied at all times.

Yes, we have You Tube TV & it works great for us. We travel a lot in our RV bus & it works as well on the road as it does at home. You also have a library of whichever shows you want to tape in the cloud for free which are assessible anywhere. I definitely recommend!

I don't but, I've have found if you have fast interent with a generous data plan, cutting the cord is easy.  I would advise you get a good long range TV antenna for over the air broadcasts.  I had a room addition built and didn't want to have holes drilled in it for a cable connection.  I have a smart TV and an antenna and it works fine for me.

We have YouTube TV and really enjoy it; Clark Howard recommends it for those wanting to cut the cord.
