Yahoo Mail problem

When I click on the icon, I get a blank screen. I can get mail from Chrome. Can anyone tell me how to get back to getting mail from desktop icon? I checked and it said google did a security check of my apps yesterday. Could that have caused it? Thanks for any help.

When I built my new computer my verizon.net email (which comes through Yahoo) wouldn't work and kept insisting I was using the wrong password. It turns out I needed an app password from Yahoo to make it work.

Thank you, gardenman. That may be it. I got a page to put in a password. It said it was wrong, so I put a new one in. Then a page came up to put in another e-mail address and a?phone number. I don't have another e-mail address, so I closed the page. I will keep trying. Didn't want to go to Boost but may have to.Thanks again!
