For the past 2-3 days, I haven't been able to:
*See my inbox messages ("your inbox folder is empty")
*Search my mail ("we couldn't find a message")
*Send anything ("we had a temporary technical glitch")
It doesn't matter which browser i use.
I've asked Yahoo to get back to me, but doubt they will.
I've Googled for ideas, but none have worked.
I did just set my mail to forward my messages to an alternate address at another email service, but am concerned re; what was missed.
Any tips, please?
TIA!

What OS are you running?
Have you done updates in the last few days? (I know Windows 7 updates came through last week, and they contained Win10 update files.)
This is not a new occurrence and has been happening, especially with the Windows 10 aggressive tactics by MS.
downdetector.com is also a good place to check whether Yahoo has been experiencing connectivity problems. It seems it has. HTH's![]()

Hi, @feline groovy! I don't use Yahoo mail these days -- they tend to be one of the most problematic along with Hotmail/Outlook and they also have dreadful support. In addition to @Gokat's excellent questions, have you tried their help community, to see if anyone has similar problems and ideas for a fix? (https://forums.yahoo.net/)
Also, as @Gokat, there are sites which give us an idea of problems others are experiencing. Mainly, they're used to see if the entire site is down, but the comments posted on some of them sometimes reflect glitches even when the site is "up."
Here's a copy of what I posted before on another thread:
When you wonder about the access to a site, try these safe online website down status checker tools. (Add one or more to your browser bookmarks/favorites, or just send this info to yourself in an email message and keep it handy.)

Thanks. 8)

Hi, my friend Doobie! ![]()
Hope you're doing - and especially, feeling - better.
Thanks for your help. 8)
I do also use GMail, but Yahoo has my main account.
I've been checking "Down Detector" and "Down Right Now" along with the Windows community, but to no avail.
Will keep trying, though.
Appreciate the info on the four other 'down' sites.

Hi, @feline groovy! Thanks for the good wishes and right back atcha!
Be sure to check the Yahoo community also. Just looking quickly in the email category, I see several reports similar to yours and the Yahoo support staff do seem to be responding and checking out individual accounts.
