chickenbutt,

Sorry to hear you too are having your own brand of electronic frustration. I know the feeling.

I swear I'd never use a computer again if I didn't need to do a few things on the internet on a daily basis.  It's handy when it's working right, but unbelieveably painful when it isn't.

I hear that!  I pay my bills online.  If I suddenly lost the internet I wouldn't even know where to start, as I get the bills by email.

For now, things seem to be ok, but not before I spent several hours on it.  i try everything I can before I call anybody because 90% of the time you get somebody who knows less than you do.  Heck, one thing I was working on last night I figured out while I was on hold.  Then when the guy came on the line he was absolutely no help then it was like 'thanks for calling'.  Uh, yeah, thanks for NOTHING!  heh

Boy, do I agree with you there!  I don't know much about the whole computer thing, but it seems like most of the time the people available who are supposed to know these things, know less than me--scary!  This whole internet confusion and lack of security just scares me to death, which is why I don't pay our bills online.  And everything is being pushed to online!

Glad you got things working again, I hope they stay that way!
