You have a year to install a free copy of Window 10 until July 29,2016.

totally agree with you, but my question was really "are they stil pushing the upgrade"? I thought the process would have been completed by now...

After several attempts I finally was able to upgrade to windows 10. What a nightmare on so many levels. I had the option to go back to windows 8.1 and I was glad I went back. I can not wait until they say I cannot upgrade anymore.  A year is too long to wait.... too too long.

Delivered? no, there is no delivery of the Windows 10 upgrade just click on the icon and it will take you though the upgrade depending on your computer the space you have might take hours. Be prepared for that! Good luck to you.

Me too!   You cannot permanently get rid of the icon.  When you disable it, the next time you turn the computer it's back.  That is irksome.  Plus, I think that my a/v sees it there and wants to make my computer ready for Win10, even though I've never requested the upgrade.

I don't understand why we have to wait until July29/16 for them to stop pushing this update. I did indeed reserve the upgrade not knowing so many bugs were still there. Okay I upgraded did not like it and now I would like the option to decide if I want to upgrade again which I do not. so I wish I could just click the option for them to stop showing the icon. Oh well, Microsoft does it again!Woman Frustrated

I have a 4 year old Gateway laptop that runs just great on Win 7.  I'm thankful I never bought a new laptop during the Win 8 period.  I figure when I get ready for a new machine, it will already have Win 10 loaded, and away I go with that.  I see that icon at the bottom of my screen and am not at all tempted to mess with it just because it's new!
