What type of browser do you use?

I've been using Internet Explorer forever as it has gotten quite tiresome freezing up all the time. I've been using IE version 8 as I've heard version 9 is a nightmare and have yet to install it. Starting with a brand new slate, I've thought about installing Google Chrome or perhaps Mozilla in place of what I assume will be IE. What type of browser do you use and how has it affected your web experience? TIA for your help!
