I've never cared enough about any printer I've ever had to love it.  I had an inexpensive HP laser printer years ago which I never liked, although of course the ink lasts forever.

 

Current printer is a dirt cheap HP Envy 4500 that prints, copies and scans (no fax) via wi-fi just fine and I don't find the 2-cartridge ink expensive. But I doubt the printer would hold up for business/hard use.

I got the HP envy 5530 with the instant ink feature. you can find out about the instant ink feature by looking at one of qvc's HP printers that has that feature. In my case i pay 5.00 a month to print up to 100 pages and it doesn't matter if it's color or black and white since you only pay for the amount of pages. you never have to buy ink as they send it to you when you're in the program and you never run out.

Great insights .....  and I am going to find a black & white ... really don't need color.
