@shell garden
On the Walmart site: I got an email on this from Walmart on this.
HP Pavilion 15-cc051wm 15.6" Touchscreen Opulent Blue Laptop, Windows 10, Intel Core i5-7200U, 12GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive, DVD, 802.11 AC + Bluetooth.
• Feel-good style: Every detail was crafted for comfort and style—from the elevated keyboard to the bold design.
• Power through your day: With up to 8 hours mixed usage battery life and a 90% charge in 90 minutes, stay powered all day with charge to spare.
• A truly powerful audio experience: Dual HP Speakers, HP Audio Boost, and tuning by B&O PLAY deliver a rich, authentic audio experience.
$552.30 It has a pretty blue outside case. I think this is a good deal. I can’t find a 17” that has what I want on it so I will probably get a 15.6” Laptop and no backlit keyboard. I will hold out for the Thanksgiving sales as I need to get one soon.

You know what computer repair people call WM holiday special computers?
Expensive paperweights.
I heard one guy reply, "next time save your money and buy a book or even a magazine." LOL

I bought my Toshiba computer over 5 years ago at Walmart for almost $700.00 and have never had a problem. Right now it is my Microsoft Office that needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled so I will get a new one with Windows 10. A friend of mine needs a computer so I will redo mine to factory settings.
Thanks for the input though. I know Walmart has an excellent return policy if I got theirs and it wasn’t right.

@MKR14....hi. This is a pretty computer and sounds like a good deal from Walmart, especially with the 12 gb. I also see it has a DVD/CD player and touchscreen, too. What's the return policy? 30 days?
Did you know HSN has a computer (showing right now) as their TSV? They've sold over 16,000. It's only 4 gb, but the new Intel processor....also 5 years of tech support and they are giving you a PC Mover (which sells for around $60.00) to move your information from one computer to another. The MERLOT color is exclusive and seems to be selling the fastest. It's a beautiful color. It's also a TOUCH screen. The price is $399.95 and 6 easy pays. Also, you have until Jan. 31, 2018 to return....how long do you have to return to Walmart?
I wish you could get that rose gold that I have, but it doesn't seem to be available. I know you will find something you really want. It is a big investment, so make sure you get something you really, really want. Are you going to get the one at Walmart?

I love the Merlot color on HSN but the 4GB of ram and the lower end Intel Celeron processor is an entry level computer.
If I didn’t need much it is a good deal. I am waiting to see what comes up here and more later on HSN for Thanksgiving. If the Walmart is gone I know they will have more. Walmart has a 90 day return policy on electronics. I don’t care about the Tech support as I would put a Square Trade Warranty on whatever laptop I buy.
I have been hoping a 17” with what I want comes in to QVC again soon. Maybe the Mods can answer this that watch our posts.
Have a great day. It is cool and rainy here in Oswego. Take care and have a great week. ![]()

@MKR14.....I take that back. The Q does have the 17" in the rose gold, with Microsoft office...you wanted that, right? Item number, E-231311. It's on 6 easy pays of $146.50 (total, $879), more, of course, than the tsv was offered, but....it's your decision.
You do have until Jan. 31st to try this one out. It's a backlit keyboard, as you know, which is rare to find. I still love mine. I think you just have to way the pros with the cons on whichever computer you choose to get.

@MKR14....you are right, it is only 4 gb beginner level. 90 day return policy at Walmart is GREAT. Like I said, the 17 inch rose gold (above) is available, don't know if they will offer that again, I really don't think so. But, if you did decide to go ahead and get it, then you would only be investing a month pay to see if you want it or not. Of course, having the gold one before, you already know if you liked it.
Anyway, I know you will find something you truly want and hope they do offer some deals during Black Friday. Have a wonderful day.

The price is now over $800.00 and I want to stay under $700.00 but thanks.
It is fun watching for what I want as a good deal. I have my money saved for it. ![]()

@MKR14...yes, it is higher now, around $130 more and also the shipping charges. Darn! Well, maybe they will have a OTO or another TSV soon, if you can wait and see. Keeping my fingers crossed you get the one you love.

If you have a Costco membership, you might want to check out their laptops (at least view the ones they are showing online, the store may have more models too). They have three 17.3" touchscreen HP laptops with 12G memory that you were looking for (and they have a few others that are higher memory), those three all have backlit keyboards as well. Two are $699.99 and one $549.99.
Plus Costco extends the manufacturer's warranty to 2 years (technical support is included), and something new if you use their Costco Visa card they add 2 more additional years on top of the original 2 years.
I bought my HP laptop from Costco (online) almost 7 years ago for $499 and not regretting that decsion one bit! If I had to buy another one, I'd go back to Costco and I'd stay with HP too.
