Does anyone have or know about the Vsee box for your TV?

I'm not technically inclined, but I've been told you just plug this into your TV and you bypass cable.  The box pulls the shows from the internet.  You can get everything through it without paying streaming fees.

You buy the box but no other fees like you do for streaming.  Not everyone sells them.  Vsee doesn't want third parties selling their products.

It sounds interesting and I'm going to look into it.  I just wanted to see if anyone has used one and their thoughts.

I googled it and although the streaming box is legit, the contents that it comes loaded with may not be. Also there could be apps on the thing that could harvest personal data and corrupt your personal network plus infringe on your privacy. Much of the content is third-party operated and that means if they get busted then you will lose service immediately.

I wouldn't go for it. Too much at risk there for me.

I believe you need to buy them for each tv also.  If you want to watch the same program on multiple tvs you only need to buy one. But if you want to watch different programs on your tvs each set needs a box.  Also some streaming services are not free. You would still have to pay for a subscription for some. I know Netflix is one you would have to pay for. But there's a huge list of channels that are downloaded onto the box. So it depends on your viewing habits.

My understanding is that this is not streaming.  It pulls the shows right from the internet.  There are hundreds of shows from all over.  You don't pay any fees.

You do need one for each TV.  I'm just looking into this because of the price of cable.

I know there are other options besides cable, but I don't want to pay multiple streaming fees.  I'm just exploring right now.

@Winkk  During your research your best bet is to read the reviews from reputable review sites as well as YouTube reviews from "real" users.

Write down all the PROS & CONS that the review sites give.  Then base your buying decision on what you find out.

Check to see if there is a forum for the prduct.  Check it out for "known" issues from "real" users & see how much the manufacturer handles complaints.

@Winkk

Vseebox is a streaming box. It runs android based apps which are pre-loaded onto the box but in order to get service you need to set up the apps from the internet where third-party apps pull content off the internet and load it onto your box. It's illegal piracy.

Look up 'third-party streaming apps' and you'll see what I mean.
