Vizio tv question-please help

Got a Vizio Flat Screen TV, do the package of 4 screws go on the feet to hook them on the bottom? I assume they do and trying to do this. BUT they will not screw in the whole way and it makes the feet wobbly. Help is appreciated Smiley Sad

@CherryHugs.

Does your TV have a pedestal or two separate legs on each side?

For the legs to be correctly mounted they have to be facing outward like this:

You didn't say what model you have. Here's a video of how to attach legs to a 2015 model. Maybe your legs are like this, maybe not.

Did your TV not come with directions on how to set it up?

Re: Vizio tv question-please help

First of all thank you to those that replied!!

The legs just will not go into the bottom of this TV and are hanging out a bit.  Very unstable.  The TV wont stand up straight.

No directions came with it!

I checked out the Youtube link, thank you. The legs are not like those in the video. Looked at a few other videos there too but still these are different.

So anyway, finally called Vizio.  They are sending New Legs as the ones that came with it are the wrong size according to them!!!

Not sure what has happened to Vizio, they are not as good as before when  we got TVs.  Never had an issue.

Sure do NOT like the new TVs with the legs that need put on.  Other ones from Vizio we have gotten did not have these legs, just a stand that was easy to put on.

Plus one we got last year had horrible color and the picture went off the screen. No amount of adjusting helped either of these issues, so back it went!

I've found putting the legs on the TV is the hardest part of the set up.

The last two flat screens we've gotten we decided to wall mount.  I think that is much more stable.
