Very Old Deleted Emails Reappear In My Trash on Ipad.....

I read an email....delete it....then delete it from my trash.....daily.....sometimes my trash bin "throws up." Deleted emails from many months earlier suddenly re-appear......I would appreciate a simple quick fix....help!!

@nana59, Your email resides on the provider's server, also, and not just on your iPad. Depending on which email service provider you have, there are ways to change your settings so that if you delete a message on your mobile device it also will delete it from the server, and my guess is right now that's not happening.

dooBdoo--son of a gun--just checked my email settings--guess what-server was programmed on "never" delete setting..I changed it to "after email leaves inbox" setting....After all these months of struggling with this problem, I think you solved my problem....I can't thank you enough!! I never noticed that option before.......and it was really bothering me that my deleted emails weren't really deleted.....kudos to you.....
