I am still trying to get babylon browser from popping up when I go to Explorer search. I have paid lots of bucks to my computer guy over the years. I emailed him and he wants to do a remote fix for lots of money. He says it is a virus. I asked him to give me a chance to fix it myself. He declined, told me it was too hard for me and he did not have the time to write pages and pages of explanation. Betcha he could do it in seconds, leaving me with just one more bill. I googled the problem and most of the advice talks about FIREFOX which is not on my computer. I know how to go to options and set the default website. I did get rid of the Bing search which seems to show up "whenever." Should be laws against these things.
Anyone know where I should start to get rid of Babylon showing up. It does not come on all the time but enough to be a nuisance. I did run scans... avg, spybot, malwarebyte, super something. My patience is running thin.
