Firewall/Antivirus

For those using PC's, can you give me some recommendations for firewall/antivirus protection?

I've been using McAfee Total Protection for several years and it was fine, but in the last year or so it's very quirkly and has had several issues.

I'd rather not spend a bundle as I'm probably going to be replacing my pc in a few months, probably to an iMac, but I'd love to hear some suggestions.


Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
