Tv delivery status ... 1 month really?!

I ordered lg tv and the edd isn't until 9/10/14 Has anyone that has ordered a tv from qvc in the past... Have you Really had to wait a whole month before your order came?

One positive thing might be? You might me more sure that it is the newest model. Many times QVC and other online stores or shopping networks sell models that have been, or will soon be replaced with newer models. Now that is not all bad if the old model has everything you want on it.

If one is in a hurry to get their hands on an electronic product? Might want to go to a local electronics store and take it home with you.

I ordered my TV last Thursday 9/25/14 and they called me yesterday 10/1/14 to schedule delivery for Friday 10/3/14.....so it DOES NOT take 4 weeks as I was originally told. I am sure that they over estimate the time frame for deliveries due to many factors. I am just glad it is taking a little over a week to receive my new TV instead of a month!

I also have the same question . I ordered the LG 49 4k Smart 3D TV . It was ordered on 12/01/14 and the EDD was 12/26/14 . I called on the 5th to see if it was shipped out and they told me they called twice on the 2nd and needed to verify some information . They asked me if I ordered the tv . Then she also told me the new EDD is 12/31/14. Does it really take a month to receive a TV ? Best Buy had the same TV for 100 less but did not come with a tablet and on Easy Pay ,but you could finance it. I would rather not because you end up paying way more than it is worth if not paid in 90 days ,unless they have 12 month financing . I'm getting sidetracked , I hthought I would get it by Christmas or a day after but now I will not get it till after the new year probably!

If you are ordering something that is not an on air item, QVC is just acting as a third party retailer. Just because you see an item listed on the website, doesn't mean they keep it stocked in their warehouse. I assume that Q takes your order, then sends it to the merchant for processing and shipping. Yea...I see that as a long and complicated process, and can see it taking several weeks for delivery.
