Trend Micro Antivirus

I purchased the HP laptop tsv on 11/24/12 and Trend Micro Titanium Antivirus was offered for life of PC ... but, there is no cd for the software just the license number. Do I download the program from the website and then add this number or should there have been an actual software cd for this? I haven't been able to play much with this as my husband has been in the hospital seriously ill .. but he is home now thank heavens and I have time to learn Windows 8. I've been using Norton trial but it almost out of time so better find out about Trend Micro soon. Thanks for any help you can give me.
