Transferring Tracfone minutes

When you transfer minutes from an old tracfone to a new tracfone, so they also transfer the service time you had left on your old phone?

I have a tracfone that has tons of minutes good until April 2014. If a buy a new tracfone with 90 days of service, does that 90 days get added after April 2014?
