I just received by Tracphone that was a TSV on the southern channel a few days ago.  It did not come with anything that indicated the number of minutes I have.  Do I need that or will they put them on the phone when I set it up?

I'm a first time Tracphone user so any help I can get would be appreciated!

Re: Tracphone Help

[ Edited ]

I am on my 9th new Tracfone, all from hsn. The boxes all came with specific instructions, in a step by step manner, explaining how to do this. You can do it online or by calling CS.

You have to first activate the phone and then there is another step, on a separate sheet, to add the hsn package minutes etc. to the phone. I prefer talking to CS when I activate and transfer the remaining data from my old Tracfone.

I set my phone's up online and never needed to know the minutes.  It was already programmed.

Thank you so much John!  I appreciate the help.  I didn't see anything about adding the HSN minutes but I will look again!

I thought QVC provided 3rd party tech support service 24/7/365 days a yr for their Tracphones?

if you have not yet activated yoir new device,

follow the instructions on the card in your package "Welcome Guide"

you will need your order # handy

here is the website: https://simplyactivate.com/#/order-lookup

OR call 1-888-222-8484  have your order # handy

the  minutes are pre-loaded. to check this, once you have activated your phone. check yourbalance on tracfone.com. you must enter your new phone number and have the last 4 digits of the serial or IMEI number - theses should be found on a red card, index sized, within the phone packaging.

doing this will deliver your minutes/text/data information by text message. there is app too but you have to get the phone up and running first. i don't use this app though.

Thank you so much to everyone that took the time to respond!  This is my first Tracphone and I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a very healthy, happy New Year!
