Tracking cookies, etc. on QVC

When I click on a QVC board thread or post on one, down in the lower corner of my screen there are a couple of sites that show up as the thread is loading. One is sharethis.com, and there are a couple more that give the web url. I can delete cookies, but how do I prevent these from tracking my activities? I went to options, tools, and checked the do not let websites track me. Is there anything else one can do to prevent this?
