The only trouble I have had is when upgrading Tracfone the phone switch would not go through keeping the same number etc. I had to go directly to Tracfone with a call and it took some time to have the company representative switch phones for me. That part was frustrating. Minutes left also transfer and often cheaper to upgrade than purchase new minutes as new phones come with ample time.

Just a heads up for anyone looking to save even more money. Tracfone is now selling stuff directly through E-Bay. You can get their ZTE ZFive phone with 1500 minutes, 1500 texts, 1.5 gb of data and one year of service for $39.99 with free shipping. They're also selling airtime only cards for one year of service with 1200 minutes, 1200 texts, and 3 gb of data for $39.99. These come directly from Tracfone and are exclusive to E-Bay. It's another option for people looking for the best bargain. Getting a year's service for $39.99 with extra minutes, texts and data is the best deal I've seen.
