I'd try that first and if it doesn't work, play with the transfer apps.
THanks!! Yes Google worked perfectly!!
Yeah, Google makes it very easy these days. Just sign in and everything's pretty much there. If you're going to or from an iPhone to an Android phone, the transfer apps help, or if you don't use Google apps it could help, but if you're in the Google ecosystem, Google is pretty good at moving everything over for you. You just sign in and over it all comes. Easy-peasy.

Im new at this also. Do you mean google on your tracfone or google on your chrome tablet? I don't have anything from my phone on my chrome tablet. Also to you call to transfer same phone number to new phone before you transfer other stuff from old phone? I really appreciate your answer and help,

If your new Tracfone is an Android phone, not an iPhone, when you log in to Google the phone gives you the option to transfer everything from your old phone to the new one. Everything in the Google ecosystem should sync up. My phone photos show up on the Google Photos app on my Chromebook and vice versa. Once you're logged in, everything should be there.

@Venezia wrote:@bargainsgirl - You need to download the Tracfone Transfer Wizard to both phones and then just follow the instructions.
I use this every time I get a new phone with no problems. You can select what you do or don't want to transfer.
I believe there are still instructions on the Tracfone site for how to do this, if you have any questions.
I have been on tracfone wizard site and utubesite.
Please excuse me if this was answered and I didn't understand, I am very old. Question before I transfer, do they transfer talk minutes, tex mintues and data? My new phone comes with 1500 of everything, and my old phone still
has 1500tex, 600+ min and 1.8 data. Do they add all that to new phone in the transfer. I hate to lose it. My old phone expiresMarch 29. I was wondering if I should continue using old phone before i transfer. I hate to be a pest, but I just understand mins get transfered not the rest of the stuff like data and tex minutes. Thank you when you can answer, I would really appreciate it.

@qvcaddition - Yes, all of your minutes, data and texts will transfer along with your existing days of service left. So the new 365 days of service will be added on to your current date of March 29 (should update you to March 2023).
I always make a note of my existing balance of minutes, etc., then make sure the total + the new 1500 minutes is correct after the transfer. I've never had a problem, but it's a good idea to check anyway.
You can update it as soon as you want. I never wait until the last minute, just in case I forget. (If you wait till you current service runs out, you will lose the minutes, data and text you have. I'm not sure if they have a way to get them back now.)
