I do this every time I get a new tracfone...I forget the plan to transfer photos, contacts, etc.  I first need to charge my new phone.  Then do I use Transfer Wizard or is there a newer way now?  I now have  Motorola and my new phone is a Samsung.  Thanks!

Re: Tracfone transfer question

Back everything up to google one, and it will automatically transfer.  Search for google one in your settings.  (This is assuming you have a google account...)

The Samsung smart switch app works very well and it's easy to do. Download from Google play

Re: Tracfone transfer question

@bargainsgirl - I always use the Tracfone Transfer Wizard.  (Get it from the Google Play Store.)

You need to download it to both phones.  It shouldn't make any difference what make they are.  It allows you to transfer everything or just select what you want.

I've transferred between LG and Motorola; no problems.

Re: Tracfone transfer question

My new phone just wanted a USB-C cable connected to both phones to transfer everything over. You'll need a USB-C cable with the USB-C connector on both ends, but it worked great.
