@MoJoV : Just finished talking with Consumer Cellular. Lady was friendly and easier to understand. However, that costing more money. The phone will be sent to me in 2 days but no free shipping on the phone. Told to call back when phone is received and they will do the activation. I have mixed feelings about the total cost but I needed to make a change.

@SouthernBee

I just received my Moto G, changing over from Samsung for the last five years.  It's a good deal, and I'm anxious to try a new phone.

Up to now, I've been quite happy with Tracfone.

I know it's hard to have Tracfone, change, and end up paying more money than you used to with the new company.

I hope it works out for you.   And me, too. Woman Happy

Hi Y'all. I was on the phone all day yesterday. First with Yahoo Mail . Then with Tracfone because Consumer Cellular needed more information and I needed a transfer pin number.

Then phone call with CC was 2 hours had trouble installing the eSIM card. I asked the lady several times if it was defective and she said no because it was electronic? She skipped the phone transfer part and I told her needed help with it. She stated that would be done later. Finally installed eSIM card and phone setting up. She said she would call later to finish because we needed a break.

Return call couldn't get to phone but called back. Man said he would help me but the lady wasn't available and I had hung up on her. I couldn't believe what he said but explained that I didn't hang up but delay in getting to the phone.

He stated the phone was already  set up and they could not help with the phone transfer. I told him that I was promised this help. I asked to speak to his supervisor and she just repeated what he said. She said to call back today to see if someone could help me?!!!! I'm a new customer.
I found information on this forum about the switch apps. Installed them and had issues but done in 2 hours. I am getting too old to deal with this tech stuff. Long stressful day.

@SouthernBee - eSIM cards are for iPhones.  Is that what you switched to?  Is that what's causing you an issue?

@Venezia : Samsung phone. I was shocked by the whole process because I was expecting better customer service. My friend that has CC was very upset.
