Tracfone help needed, please

I ordered my LG Tracfone  QVC TSV on June 6, 2015.

I received my Tracfone on June 22, 2015.

I activated my Tracfone on July 1, 2015.

I have not used this phone for any purpose since activating it.

I had 2,717.59 minutes on my old Tracfone which were to

be carried forward.

I was to receiver an additional 1,200 minutes with the purchase

of my new phone.

Combined, my minutes should amount to 3,717.59.

I checked my account a couple of days ago to learn that I have only 178 minutes left.

I further found that my minutes and account expire today, February 2, 2016.

Can anyone explain why so few minutes in my account and why my

account is expiring so soon?

Customer service at Tracfone is terrible, they keep repeating that my phone is “fully provisioned,” which means only that it is working.

Has anyone else had this happen and had it resolved somehow?  Is there anything I can do about this?  I lost my minutes and I lost the 12 months to use them.

Re: Tracfone help needed, please

It sounds like you didn't load your new minutes onto the phone, which would have also extended your airtime date.  I don't believe you can get them now.  I think they expire after 90 days, but I could be wrong on the number of days.

I've never lost minutes on my phone, so not sure about your old minutes.  You should call tracfone again, as they are the ones that can help.  Over the years, I've contacted them twice and they were very helpful.

@wheatfield

I looked this up on the Internet

Corporate office number is 800-876-5753

Another suggestion 800-378-9575

Press 1 for English, Press 4 at next menu and than press the corresponding number to your issue next.

If either of these don't work let me know and I will see if I can search for another phone number for you! HTH

You have issues that only Tracfone can explain.   I will say I've never had them accurately transfer all my old unused minutes.   I always have to call and make them fix it.

Call Tracfone again and see if you can speak directly to a supervisor.

Re: Tracfone help needed, please

I was just on the phone yesterday with the Tracfone co. Backing up... my story goes like this: I purchased a Tracfone from QVC just a year ago. I needed to add minutes, etc. So I bought a phone card at Walmart ($100.00).  I could not for the life of me scratch off the silver bar to expose the pin # without scraping off the pin #. I brought it back to Walmart, but they couldn't do anything to help me as the cards as non-refundable.  I then called the TF co.and the man I spoke to was very helpful and was able to load the card onto my phone.  He was a little difficult to understand , but I got through the conversation.

I hope you are able to solve your issue with your phone.

Also, mrrebates.Com gives 15% back and the Tracfone website had a $15.00 discount when purchasing a card for additional minutes. Of course, I discovered these after I had already purchased my card. Store that info for next time !

Re: Tracfone help needed, please

Sounds like something was not activated when you purchased it. It's too late now to activate what came with the phone. Even is you did not activate what came with the phone you say you had over 2700 mins to transfer. Sounds like those also did not get transferred either. All I have ever used is Tracfone. I have never had any problems with their phones, transferring mins etc.
