Hello, is anybody else having this isue, I dial a call and instead of ringing it is dead silent and it says call ended. It is almost like something is blocking the call, then a few minutes later it works.

Try turing it off then on to reset it.

Did you try setting your connection to wifi? Maybe your connection to the nearest phone tower is weak.

I have Tracfone 5G phone and its working fine.
I had your problem December 2022 and the problem was Verizon bought Tracfone and stopped supporting 4G non volte phones maybe it was just my area, but Verizon had hinted at terminating 4G non volte phone service, but they didn't give a date and 4G non volte phones suddenly stopped working last December.. I had to purchase a 5G phone and have had no problems since
HERES FROM THE INTERNET
Yes, Verizon stopped supporting 4G phones that do not support Voice over LTE (VoLTE) on December 31, 2022. This means that these phones can no longer make or receive calls, send or receive texts, or use data services.

Check your minutes.

My boyfriend had a similar problem. He called tracfone and they had the IME number for his phone on somebody else's phone. Sounded like the numbers were mixed up. It took them a while to finally figure out what was going on.

@Spunkyspouts After doing the above, OPTIMIZE your phone. Afterwards you should have no further issues.

My phone (Tracfone) quit working and I still had 11 months service and minutes available. I called the Tracfone number and they tried to get it to work and they kept disconnecting my call. I bought this one at HSN it is a Galaxy 15 by Samsung and I called HSN and they gave me a $40 credit but I paid $118. and only used it for 1 month of the 12. Both HSN and it's sister station QVC need to refund those of us who paid for a phone and year of service. Frustrating beyond belief. If you don't like what I've written please just ignore me and not write me a nasty response.

@verarose - You don't say how long ago this happened, but you should be able to transfer the service and minutes you had left on the the Samsung phone to your new phone, if it's still within the service period.
You shouldn't lose any of that.
(ETA: I've had trouble in the past with Tracfones I ordered from HSN not working. I only ever order from QVC now and have never had a problem. My current phone is the Moto G Power 5G; it's a great phone.)
