Tracfone and Getting a Signal????

Hi all .... Yesterday, I was looking at the HSN Today Special Samsung Tracfone phone, too, BUT ...... A question???

Has anyone else been having trouble getting a signal lately? Since about springtime, we can't send or receive calls or texts from our home. It will usually say " message failed" or "network not available".

We live in a rural community in Central NC. Yes, we have had Tracfones for at least 11 years with no issues at all until recently. When we are up town, there is a signal, but no longer can we get one at here at home. It is frustrating and would be useless if we had an emergency here.
