I purchased an HP Envy 120 printer as a TSV. It has worked great until yesterday. Out of the blue the scanner began producing scans that have colorful lines and streaks that make the scanned image impossible to read.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. I have tried to install the Firmware update that shows available on HP.com and is suppose to correct black streaks through scanned images. It sounds familiar enough that I felt it could solve my problem.
The Firmware downloaded fine - but it will not install. I tried with a USB connection as well as the wireless connection. Nothing works.
Any ideas? I appreciate your time and knowledge.
