I have been thinking for quite some time about giving up my flip phone. There is nothing wrong with it, I just would like to catch up with technology.  

For those who have them, do you like it, any connecting problems, etc?

I'm going on my fifth year and have no complaints.  I haven't had any connection issues.  Love the price with no contract.

Hubby and I have used Tracfone for several years.  No problems whatsoever with connection.  Great price, no contracts.

I just transferred my phone number to my 11th Tracfone. Since Tracfone generally uses more than 1 of the major US cell carriers, I see their service better than a single carrier.

I don't use mine much, that is why I choose this company. My monthly cost is less than $6, and I have yet to see one cheaper. My current phone has it all: text/data and lots of minutes I will never use.

I've been using Tracfone for several years now & have been quite satisfied.  My current airtime expires about a month from now, so the Samsung TSV a few days ago was perfect timing for me.  I have not had any problems transferring minutes, etc. to new phones, & have found the Tracfone website easy to use.  

Full disclosure:  I use my phone primarily for calls & texts.  I do not use it to listen to music (I dislike earbuds), shop, surf the web, etc.  I have poor eyesight & aging hasn't helped any, so I really don't enjoy watching movies or tv on a tiny screen.  Not a gamer, either.  Yeah, I know I'm boring.  Just thought you should know I'm not totally dependent on it for everything.

That's all I have ever had is Tracfone's. The Android Tracfones are better then their regular phones. You get separate talk, text & data mins. I use the AT&T network & never really had any problems. Verizon is not available in my area. Tracfone CS is a pain depending on who answers. Sometimes I cannot understand what they are saying & have to call back. Sometimes they don't know what they are doing & you have to talk to someone else but eventually you will get there. LOL!!!

I really like my Tracfone. I use it mostly for texting and comparing prices when I'm shopping. I think that Google Maps is better than the navigation system in my car.

@DoneTryin, you are not boring at all because I will use my phone the same way.  I don't need a lot of extras.  I use my tablet a lot because of the larger screen.

I have the trac fone LG Sunset android  i ordered as a special on HSN  and is my first android phone and i love it!

I don't need movies,music,etc down loaded on it.

But i did down load Avast security,Avast battery saver,Avast clean up and wifi fi finder..i don't use my min, etc while using my AT&T modum at home.

Yes my carrier is AT&T.

I've had nothing but tracfones for many years and now with Androids available - well they do everything other contract phones do.   Internet all the time at home on your inernet free WiFi or from your paid time (which I have never had to use).
