You are very welcome!  Smiley Happy  Here is the interactive tutorial I told you about, and down on the lower left side under a green bar that says documents, is a complete user guide that tells you how to do everything.  I don't know if you have any tablets or other devices.  If so, you probably know how to remove apps, arrange them, make folders, etc.  If not, let me know, and I'll help you all I can.

L51AL Interactive Tutorial

For accessories on eBay or Amazon, search LG K7.  And imo, the best screen protectors are the illumishield brand found on Amazon.

Being retired, I'm not out and about tons like when I worked, and I am well stocked on devices...2015 Macbook Pro Retina, iPad Mini 4, Lepan tablet, and an Amazon Fire tablet.  And we have a wireless house phone.  So, I just need a basic smart phone for a few calls, texts, and the occasional use of internet while out and about.  Tracfone lets me have all that for less than $8 a month.

Re: Tracfone Treasure Review

My activation took more than 24 hrs, so I sent a message through their FB page (thank you for that suggestion someone--sorry I don't remember who) I did get the help I needed there, and everything seemed OK until I tried to send a couple texts.  My outgoing texts were not received, but I tried texting myself from my husband's phone and it went through.  I have another message in to TracFone, but in the meantime, if anyone has a suggestion, I would certainly appreciate it.

@neetsPA, I am the OP, and I used TF chat to finally get my phone activated.  For what it's worth, I read on Howard Forums that someone could make calls but not receive them (or vice versa) on their Treasure.  The next morning, the phone was working as it should, so maybe that will happen for you.  If not, you may have a defective phone and need to return it.  TF will transfer your service back to your old phone.  If so, make sure you take a screen shot of the Tracfone webpage showing your minutes, texts, data, and service end date in case something goes awry and you need that for proof.  I hope you get this worked out quickly and efficiently without having to go through what I did.

Re: Tracfone Treasure Review

Thanks so much for your reply.  I really hope that I don't have to return the phone, after all this.  I really like the phone and would  like to keep it.  I'm hoping for an answer from TracFone soon. I may be back to you for help with the screen shot, if necessary.

Re: Tracfone Treasure Review

Still waiting for a resolution to my issue.  I was on chat a while ago, and I was working with an agent who was really trying to help.  Suddenly, the message came up to try again later with chat, thereby ending the session.  Ugh! I felt like we were making some progress.  Then TF texted me three times, and I tried to reply, but since my texts aren't received, I have no idea what they were trying to tell me.  It was just a long series of numbers in the texts.  Maybe I will try again later.  My husband is waiting for me to go to the gym--will be good for blowing off some steam!

Re: Tracfone Treasure Review

My original chat on TF Facebook page picked up again around 6 pm, and she was eventually able to resolve the issue.  I had to completely reset the phone, which meant I had to reenter all my contacts.  Fortunately, I don't have a ton.  After the reset, I tried texting my husband's phone and had the same result.  I tried again using the area code, and the text went right through.  I suspect that was the problem all along!  Oh, well, at least it's working correctly now.

I'm glad the issue was resolved.  It's a good thing you don't have many contacts; you'll be able to go through and add the area codes to them if they're not already there.  I have always used bluetooth to transfer my contacts from one phone to another, but I recently read of an app that you install on both Tracfones that will transfer photos and contacts pretty easily. In the Google Play Store, search Tracfone Wizard, and Mobile Content Transfer Wizard will come up.  That is the one you choose.

Thanks for all your suggestions  I did re-enter all my contacts last night without too much effort.  If I ever do this again, I will keep the TracFone Wizard in mind. I also managed to get the phone paired with the bluetooth in one car and will connect the other tomorrow.  Technology is great when it works!!

noooo....did not see that but the TF instructions say to make a call....which I did.......

I got mine today.  I am switching from a month to month samsung to my tracfone.  I did not want to do it on line because I do like talking to a person.  I called tracfone customer service, gave them my number to port over, my account number and my pin number.  It took less than an hour.  All my apps transferred, my contacts did not.  I will just put them in and probably delete some.  I like this phone. not sure how long 1350 minutes will last me but I did download an app to keep track  of the minutes.  No problems making or receiving calls, no problems sending or receiving texts.  I do have a couple of games.  They seem to use up minutes I think?  Anyway so far so good.
