- 365 days of service

- unlimited talk and texts

- 24 GB data

BUT promotional minutes are NOT transferable from this phone. $79.99

I would consider getting this when my current service year ends.

Is there a monthly charge for this plan? 
I've seen a lot of commercials for their unlimited plans.

@deeva     Don't confuse unlimited talk and text -- which is dirt cheap

with unlimited data -- which is where the big costs are.

I can understand why promotional minutes are not transferrable from this phone.

One time, I ordered a new tracphone.  I got it up and running and the minutes from my old phone were transferred to the new one.

Well, I hated the new phone and decided to send it back for a refund.  So, I transferred the minutes on the new phone back to the old one.

What happened was I had no way of only transferring only the old minutes back....the 1500 minutes that came with the new phone were transferred as well.

Now, I sent back the new phone....stripped of it's 1500 minutes and got 1500 free minutes on my old phone.

I called Tracphone and was on the phone forever trying to get this straightened out.  I ended up keeping the 1500 minutes for free.

My guess is that some people figured this out and bought new phones, transferred the minutes to another phone and sent the new phone back for a refund.

I suppose that Tracphone finally got wise to this theft of service and put a stop to it.

Good point @Carmie .  What if I transfer accumulated minutes and texts to a "non-transfer" phone and then return it? Could Tracfone sort that out?

Any way you look at it unlimited talk, text with a year service plus 24gb data for $80 is a good deal.

I would recommend at a YouTube videos before buying this phone.
