Just ordered the Toshiba Thrive tablet from the other channel. I really wanted the iPad, but I need someting that will replace my laptop (I use Windows 7). I teach Office Applications at a middle school and at night school, but we use PCs. Does anyone have this tablet, if so, how do you like it? I've seen mostly good reviews, but also saw some bad, like when the tablet goes in sleep mode, and something about the microphone breaking. I figured that I have until January 31 to send it back. Another reason I bought this is because of the Quick Office application. I use Office 2010, would I be able to edit or create Word, Excel, or PowerPoint lesson plans on this tablet? Like I said, I really wanted the iPad, but I don't think I could cross the file formats over. I know you couldn't do that in the past. If so, what do you need to do so that a file can open in either platform? Thanks for your advice and help.
